By Bike
The Mediterranean by bike
This is the French section of the EuroVélo 8 itinerary. It crosses the Pyrénées-Orientales department from Le Barcarès to Le Perthus, taking you along the Mediterranean and through landscapes of vineyards and orchards.
Via the Greenway
A greenway is a dedicated road reserved exclusively for non-motorized vehicles and pedestrians, and forbidden to horse riders.
By bus
There are several bus routes in Agly-Verdouble:
SANKEO BUSES
- SANKÉO Line 9 "Vingrau - Gare routière Méditerranée": serves Espira-de-l'Agly, Cases-de-Pène, Estagel, Tautavel and Vingrau.
- SANKÉO Line n°17 "Cassagnes - Estagel": serves Estagel, Montner and Cassagnes.
- SANKÉO Line n°18 "Baixas - Calce": serves Calce.
Lio buses
- LIO Line n°505 "Lansac - Perpignan": serves Estagel
By car
Take the A9 "La Catalane" freeway, toll exit "Perpignan nord" n°41, then follow signs for Foix.
